Training terms
At the C.F.C all the training sessions are supervised by professional, state-certified sailing instructors, who are required to combine education and conviviality.
The price of the training session comprises: the availability of a boat which is suited to the level of the training session, the teaching sessions and the accommodation needs, and has the appropriate liability insurance. A float is created by the trainees to cover victualing costs, harbour dues and diesel for the crew and the instructor.
Reservation comprises a 30% down payment for the overall cost of the training session. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of a withdrawal from the session prior to boarding. A cancellation fee can be offered to you by simple request when signing up. In the event that force majeure or an insufficient number of trainees leads to the cancellation of the training session, any amounts paid will be refunded in full without this resulting in any rights to compensation. Retirement from a training session midway through will not entitle the person involved to any form of refund or compensation. Registration implies that you know how to swim and you’re medically fit to sail and you’re at least 15 years of age. Anyone under the age of 18 will have to present the relevant authorisation from a parent or their stated tutor.
Please get in touch with us in the month prior to the start of the training session to find out the where we’re meeting up, as well as the minimum amount of equipment that will be required.
